WAYYYYY Too LONG!

Lily Kate is ONE!

Lily Kate turned one last week! We had a party on Saturday with the family, and it was so much fun! I can't believe how quickly this year went by!

"Owen"isms

Tomorrow is Lily Kate's 1st Birthday. I can hardly believe that it has been a full year. I was talking to Owen about her birthday tomorrow. I asked him what kind of birthday muffins we should make in the morning (a tradition in our house). He said chocolate chip, and then he said the cutest thing... He said, "Mama, I think that we should dress up the house for her." He continued, "You know, we could hang balloons and things." I guess he meant decorate. I loved that idea! I'll have to post some pictures tomorrow of her BIG DAY!

He got it!

Over the past few months, Lily Kate has been taking it HARD from her brother. From being pushed and shoved, to having her toys snatched away, this little girl has taken a lot from Big Brother Owen. Russ and I often joke that she is going to learn quickly how to fend for herself.

After the kids baths last night, out of nowhere, Lily Kate sinks her four precious baby teeth right into Owen's leg. Yep. In one hard bite, Owen got payback. He cried and I comforted him. And, of course, I got onto her in front of him to let him see that she gets in trouble too. But, I couldn't help but laugh in my head. I am sure that this is just one of the many times that she is going to get him back!

Easter

We had such a blast this Easter! It was such a beautiful day! Owen and Lily Kate both had a blast hunting eggs with Bantten and Mia! They also LOVED the Easter Bunny! Here are a few pictures (thanks Elizabeth)!

"Snow" much fun!

I love when it comes a "good" snow! Owen had a blast sledding, throwing snowballs, and playing in the snow. We couldn't get the snow to pack together well enough to build a snowman, but we still had fun! Even Lily Kate ventured out! I hope we get more tonight!
